How did you become involved with EOCA: KEEN, the company I work for, is a proud Sustaining Member of EOCA. KEEN, as a company and I, as a person, care about building stronger communities and a healthier planet. By joining EOCA, I can help to inspire responsible outdoor participation, and land & water conservation.

Number of years in the outdoor industry: Since 2013

What else do you promote to support conservation: I am a board member at Respect the Mountains and participate in their Envirotreks. I am trying to inspire other people to learn about minimising your footprint and to protect outdoor places by respecting them. Via KEEN, we try to support as many projects and organisations helping the conservation of beautiful outdoor places and species.

Favourite wild place: Cape Tribulation, Australia.

Favourite outdoor activity: Skiiing, Hiking, Swimming.

Perfect day: Either a long, sunny day of skiing or ski touring with friends, exploring new areas and enjoying nice views or hiking with my wife and children, playing, walking and having fun.

If you are an individual who loves the great outdoors and would like to support our projects, please click the donate button below. During 2017, all money donated will fund tree planting in Nepal as part of our 2 Million Tree Project.
The grant from the EOCA kick started WLT’s support of a new and vital Elephant Corridor project from Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand, northern India, where local communities, currently encountering conflict with Elephants and Tigers are very keen to be relocated. As well as providing vital funding for this project the EOCA grant leveraged match-funding from another WLT donor which is testament to the importance of the EOCA’s support.
